breakfast cream of wheat

This is how I love Cream of Wheat for breakfast. I fix it several times a week. Sometimes I add 1 Tbl ground flaxseed and instead of walnuts, I toast a few unsalted almonds in the microwave and chop them up. I prefer using frozen blueberries. (I freeze my own) The taste of the spray butter makes a big difference in the taste :-)

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons splenda
- 2 tablespoons cream of wheat regular (not instant)
- 3/4 cup non fat milk (or 1%)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
- to taste - i can't believe it's butter (spray)
- 1 tablespoon walnuts chopped or toasted almonds
How To Make breakfast cream of wheat

Step 1I use a coffee mug but anything similar will do. Add Splenda, Cream of Wheat, and cinnamon to mug. Pour in milk and stir to mix well.

Step 2Add 3 min on microwave and cook until it raises to the top of mug, stir and repeat a couple more times. I like to cook it on a small mw safe plate in case it boils over.

Step 3Remove and add spray butter (I just pour it, less messy), stir and add blueberries and walnuts. I add them little by little if my mug is too full.
