all purpose flour
1 c
whole wheat flour
2 Tbsp
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
egg whites
2 c
2 Tbsp
canola oil
blueberries, (optional)

How to Make Better for you buttermilk pancakes


  • 1In a large bowl,combine the first 5 ingredients. Combine the egg whites, egg, buttermilk,snf oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • 2Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a hot griddle coated with cooking spray. Turn when bubbles just form on top, cook until second side is golden brown. Top with blueberries if desired.
  • 3You can freeze extra pancakes in a single layer on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag when ready. Pop in microwave or toaster.
