quick-cooking oats
2/3 c
whole wheat flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 Tbsp
sugar
1 medium
ripe banana
1
egg
1 1/4 c
low fat buttermilk
2 Tbsp
oil

How to Make BANANA OATMEAL PANCAKES

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, oats and sugar. Set aside.
  • 2In blender whirl banana until smooth. Add egg, buttermilk, and oil; whirl until smooth. Stir banana mixture into dry ingredients, blending well. If batter is too thick, add more buttermilk one tablespoon at a time. Cook on hot griddle sprayed with cooking spray.
  • 3Serve with warmed applesauce and cinnamon.
