Ingredients
- BATTER
- 1 cup steele cut oats
- 2 scoops vanilla whey-to-go protein powder
- 1/2 cup light agave nectar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 2 - eggs
- CANDIED APPLES
- 1 tablespoon earth balance (butter)
- 1 - granny smith apples
- 2 tablespoons palm sugar
How To Make apple oatmeal protein muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Prep and cook 1 cup of steel cut oats using directions on label. Chop 1 to 2 Apples of your choice into small slices, add Earth Balance (or butter), and Palm Sugar (or sugar of your choice) and Cinnamon, then cook on medium heat until semi soft.

Step 2Mix all ingredients for the batter directly into the cooked steele cut oats.

Step 3Fill the muffin pan with batter. Side note: Don't make the same mistake I did; use cup cake liners. ;)

Step 4Bake for about 40 minutes and serve, let cool for about 10, and serve.
