Ingredients
- 3-4 - apples, peeled and diced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup apple juice or cider
- 2 cups uncooked steal cut oats (i use regular oatmeal)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, divided
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
- - any additional desired toppings for oat meal such as chopped nuts, raisins, craisins, brown sugar, milk, cream, granola, etc.
How To Make apple cinnamon overnight oatmeal

Step 1spray the crock pot with nonstick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner.

Step 2add the diced apples, milk,water, apple juice, oats, maple syrup, butter, salt, vanilla to crock pot and stir until well combined.

Step 3then mix in 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar along with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon.

Step 4cook on low for 7-8 hours.

Step 5in the morning add the remaining 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and stir in the oatmeal.

Step 6it will thicken more after you give it a stir.

Step 7unplug the crock pot and let sit for 5 minutes. your oatmeal is now ready to serve. top with any additional desired toppings.

Step 8notes: left overs can be placed in containers and put in the refrigerator.

Step 9to reheat, just add a little milk to 1 cup of the oatmeal. microwave for 30 seconds.

Step 10give it a stir and microwave another 30 seconds or until heated through.
