easy homemade turkey sausage
Leery of purchasing store bought sausage, I was glad to run into this recipe. I love that I know what is in it. Feel free to substitute one or more of the spices with something else you have in your pantry that you think would work well. I didn't have thyme, so I substituted Italian seasoning and I omitted marjoram and it still turned out great.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 3 tablespoons dry minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon each: basil, thyme, sage & salt
- 1/4 teaspoon each: cumin, marjoram, pepper, oregano, nutmeg & ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 large egg

Step 1Combine all ingredients until well incorporated.
