I did not create this recipe but love it so much I wish to share it. Especially good for warm summer mornings when you are hungry for oatmeal but don't want warm food.

  • 2
    apples, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 c
    apple juice, unsweetened
  • 1 c
    rolled oats, quick cooking
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    low-fat plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp
    walnuts or almonds
  • 2 Tbsp
    raisins or craisins

How to Make Swiss Oatmeal


  1. Combine apples and juice. Stir in oats and honey. Add yogurt, nuts, raisins; stir to mix well. Put in refrigerator. Can keep for up to 2 days.
