Homemade Swiss Muesli Cereal

Be sure to use old-fashioned rolled oats, because quick oats tend to be mushy.
Ingredients

2 cold fashioned rolled oats
-
1/2 csliced almonds or walnuts

1/4 csunflower seeds
-
1/2 craisins
-
1/2 cchopped dried apricots or cranberries

1 1/4 clowfat milk
-
2 Tbsphoney or brown sugar
-
1 tspvanilla (optional)
-
1 pinchsalt (optional)

·yogurt for topping if desired
How to Make Homemade Swiss Muesli Cereal
- Combine all ingredients except yogurt in a bowl with airtight lid, making sure all oats are in contact with milk. A little more milk can be used if necessary.
- Let sit refrigerated at least 1 hour, or refrigerate overnight. Serve topped with your choice of yogurt if desired.
