My 5 yr old granddaughter loves to help make these, because she likes to add her own things. Mainly chocolate candies! You can add different nuts, seeds and dried fruit, you can be creative w/ these, so go ahead!

Ingredients

  • 4-1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup butter, i use
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup ocean spray blueberry-infused dried cranberries.

How To Make homemade granola bars

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 325. Spray a 9 x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, vanilla, butter, honey and brown sugar. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries. Press lightly into pan. Bake for 18-22 min, or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars.
