  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, separated
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed

How To Make healthy whole wheat banana bread pancakes

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Add vanilla and 1 cup of milk until combined. The batter will still be dry. Add the mashed bananas and mix. Add the remaining 1/2 cup milk until smooth and the consistency you desire. Serve with syrup, whipped cream, and berries (blueberries are wonderful!).
