Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup cream of wheat cereal, uncooked
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup whipped cream cheese spread
  • 1/3 cup blueberries

How To Make berries and hot cream of wheat

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan, bring milk to a boil over high heat, being careful not to burn. Gradually add cream of wheat and sugar, stirring constantly until thoroughly blended. Cook 3 to 5 minues, until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • Step 2
    Add the cream cheese spread; cook until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well-blended, stirring frequently.
  • Step 3
    Add the blueberries; stir gently until well-blended. Serve immediately.
  • Step 4
    May substitute sliced strawberries for the blueberries.
