While I was cooking some eggs for egg salad today I thought I'd share with all of you how I make the perfect cooked egg " no green ring around the yolk "..... This is how I hard boil eggs and they come out perfect every time. And did you know that slightly older eggs peel better than fresh ones?????

Ingredients

  • - 6 large eggs
  • - enough cold water to cover about 1 inche onver the top of the eggs

How To Make the perfect cooked egg!

  • Step 1
    Place the eggs in a large enough pot so they can move around freely.
  • Step 2
    Put cold water in the pot about 1 inch over the top of the eggs.
  • Step 3
    Put them on the stove and watching them carefully watch so as soon as they start to boil, cover them and remove the pot off the heat. Don't uncover them for 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    After 15 minutes you can then run cold water over them. Peel them and use as you usually would.
