Tina's Super Shakshuka
1 Tbspolive oil
2 clovegarlic, minced
1/2 tspcrushed red pepper
1/2 tspground cinnamon
1/2 tspground cloves
1/2 tspground allspice
28 ozcrushed or diced tomatoes
How to Make Tina's Super Shakshuka
- In large sauté pan sauté onion until translucent.
- Add spices to pan to bloom in oil for about 30 seconds.
- Add tomatoes along with liquid to pan. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- With the back of a spoon make a nest in the tomatoes and gently crack an egg in the nest. Continue with the remaining eggs. Cover and poach gently until eggs are done to you liking. Add salt and pepper and serve.
