perfectly poached egg on english w/provolone

Ingredients
- 1 - egg
- - a splsh vinegar
- 1 - english muffin
- 1 slice provolone cheese
- - salt and pepper
How To Make perfectly poached egg on english w/provolone

Step 1Heat a pot of water with a few inches of water in it, add a splash of vinegar to the water.

Step 2Now you don't want boiling water, you want very hot water, just to the point before simmer. Now turn down temp as not to bubble. If your water starts to boil just bring down the temp to blow boiling point.

Step 3Break the egg into a small dish, now make a whirlpool in the pot with your spoon. Slide the egg into the middle of the whirlpool.

Step 4Cook 3-4 minutes, remove w/slotted spoon, let drain on paper towel.

Step 5Toast and butter your English muffin, add the slice of provolone, top with the poached egg and salt and pepper.
