HollyAnn's Stop The Music Deviled Eggs
My family all enjoy Sweet Chow-Chow so these are a hit for us!
---Another recipe from "Deviled Eggs Cookbook".
6 mediumhard-cooked eggs, peeled, cut in half, and yolks mashed in a bowl
2 - 3 Tbspchow-chow
2 tspprepared yellow mustard
1/8 to 1/4 tspblack pepper, to your taste
·paprika, hot or sweet
How to Make HollyAnn's Stop The Music Deviled Eggs
- Combine the thoroughly mashed yolks and mayonnaise until fairly smooth. Mix in the chow-chow, mustard, salt and pepper.
My Chow-Chow had alot of juice and I tried to drain the cabbage and veggies the best I could but it still made my mixture a little less thick than I like. I think next time I will put the Chow-Chow in a strainer and press it with a fork.
