I wanted to use a bit of my fresh tomatoes off the vine this morning. This sandwich was really good and gave me the energy I needed to start my day!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 - egg whites
  • 2 - thin slices ripe tomato
  • 1 - slice low fat colby jack cheese
  • 1 - wheat deli thin bun-or bagel thin, toasted
  • - butter spray
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make healthy-start breakfast sammie

  • Step 1
    Heat a small non-stick pan on med-high. Spray with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Add the egg whites and cook till set on the bottom (about a minute). Flip over and sprinkle with salt and peper. Add the tomato slices and cheese.
  • Step 3
    Cover the pan. It is done when the cheese looks melted. Serve on toasted bun sprayed with butter spray.
