ham and noodle quiches
This is a fun recipe. Kids especially like it because of the small size and alphabet pasta. Sometimes you can find tiny "superhero" pasta or star pasta. Those could also be substituted. If you use regular muffin tins, increase the cook time.

Ingredients
- 1 cup alphabet pasta, uncooked
- 3/4 cup finely chopped cooked ham (about 1/4 pound)
- 3/4 cup finely chopped swiss cheese (about 1/4 pound)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
How To Make ham and noodle quiches

Step 1Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain well.

Step 2Combine the pasta, ham, Swiss cheese and onion in a large bowl; stir well. Spoon evenly into greased miniature (1 3/4 inch) muffin pans.

Step 3Combine whipping cream and remaining ingredients, stirring with a wire whisk until blended. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the pasta mixture in the muffin pans. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until set and lightly browned. Remove from pans; serve immediately.
