dad's eggs benedict
This recipe comes from my father it was my absolute favorite breakfast as a kid, usually he used regular cream of mushroom soup instead of golden mushroom soup.

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1 can water ( i prefer to use milk or half and half it makes it much creamier)
- 3 - english muffins, or sourdough bread
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (real cheddar cheese not american cheese slices)
- 6 - poached eggs
How To Make dad's eggs benedict

Step 1Fry onion until tender, then add golden mushroom soup and 1 can of water simmer until hot. Place cheese on split english muffins and broil until cheese is melted. Put poached eggs on toasted muffins then add sauce as you like it.
