Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 cup egg beaters
  • 1/2 cup diced fully cooked lean ham
  • 1/4 teaspoon bunyan's diabetic seasoning rub (recipe on jap)
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-fat cream cheese, cubed

How To Make diabetic cream cheese ham omelet

  • Step 1
    In a nonstick lg skillet, saute onion in olive oil until tender.
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat to medium; add egg substitute.
  • Step 3
    As eggs set, lift edges, letting uncooked portion flow underneath.
  • Step 4
    When the eggs are set, sprinkle ham and seasonings over one side.
  • Step 5
    Top with cream cheese cubes.
  • Step 6
    Fold omelet over filling.
  • Step 7
    Cover, remove from heat and let stand for 1-2 minutes or until cream cheese is melted.
