Ingredients

  • 4 - whole eggs
  • 4 - egg whites
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 - green pepper, chopped
  • 1 - yellow pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup kraft shredded mild cheddar cheese (my preference would be to add more cheese: 3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup taco bell home originals thick 'n chunky salsa

How To Make cheese & pepper omelet

  • Step 1
In a medium bowl, beat the whole eggs, egg whites and water with a whisk until well blended.
  • Step 2
Cook the peppers and onions in a large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until almost tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Step 3
Place eggs in the skillet; cover and cook on low-to-medium heat for 6 minutes.
  • Step 4
Top half of the omelet with the pepper mixture, followed by the cheese; fold in half. Cook, covered, 3 minutes more, or until cheese is melted. Serve topped with salsa.
