2 eggs
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 pinch salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups milk
red food coloring

11. Beat eggs until fluffy; beat in sugar and salt. In a separate bowl, stir flour and baking powder together. Stir milk and flour mixture alternately into eggs, starting and ending with milk.
2Divide into 2 bowls, to one bowl add red food dye drops (or paste) in order to get the color you wish to have :)
3Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
4Cut a heart out of the center of each pancake using a two-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Place a red mini-pancake heart in the center of each white pancake and a white mini-pancake heart in the center of each red pancake
Serve warm with pure Maple Syrup :)
