These heart shaped pancakes are always a favorite traditional breakfast for my sweet Valentines!

Ingredients
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups milk
- - red food coloring
How To Make heart shaped pancakes

Step 11. Beat eggs until fluffy; beat in sugar and salt. In a separate bowl, stir flour and baking powder together. Stir milk and flour mixture alternately into eggs, starting and ending with milk.

Step 2Divide into 2 bowls, to one bowl add red food dye drops (or paste) in order to get the color you wish to have :)

Step 3Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.

Step 4Cut a heart out of the center of each pancake using a two-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter. Place a red mini-pancake heart in the center of each white pancake and a white mini-pancake heart in the center of each red pancake Serve warm with pure Maple Syrup :)
