Elvis Sandwich with a Twist

Most of the ingredients went on Elvis's favorite sandwich. I have added my twist on how to make it. It is healthy enough for breakfast on the run (I am enjoying one now) and a great snack for the kids. Add a glass of cold milk and snack time is complete. Hope you like it as much as we do.

2 slice
bread, whole grain
1 medium
banana, sliced
1 Tbsp
peanut butter, creamy
1 Tbsp
2 tsp
butter, unsalted and soft
1 dash(es)
lemon juice


1Lightly spread 1 teaspoon butter on each slice of bread.
2In a medium bowl smash sliced banana. Add a dash of lemon juice to keep banana from browning.
3Add peanut butter and honey. Stir until well combined.
4Spread mixture on to buttered bread and enjoy. May be served room temp or grilled.
