Made these for a sleepover morning after... works out great because everyone can have it their own way! Yummy and a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients
- 12 slices thick cut day old bread
- 5 - eggs
- 1/4 cup half and half - milk works fine
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 8 ounces room temperature cream cheese
- 2 pints fresh berries or fruit
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- - maple syrup
How To Make berry stuffed french toast

Step 1Mix together cream cheese and white sugar. Spread on all slices of bread.

Step 2Mix together eggs, half and half (or milk), vanilla and salt.

Step 3Place fruit on 6 of the bread slices and cover with other 6 slices... cream cheese side down. Press together to help it stay as a sandwich.

Step 4Dip sandwiches in egg mixture and place on a buttered or otherwise greased cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes, turn over and bake another 10 minutes. Remove from sheet, dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
