Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 can unsweetened applesauce (15 oz)
- 1 bag walnut pieces (6 oz)
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground clove
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 - eggs
How To Make apple walnut oat breakfast cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Mix well then add can of apple sauce.

Step 2Fold in oats until evenly mixed. Fold in flour then walnut pieces. Add 1 cup dried apple pieces if desired.

Step 3Drop by tablespoonfuls on baking sheets about 1" apart (they will not spread much)and bake 8-10 minuets. Cool on sheet two minuets before transferring to cooling racks.
