Ingredients

1/2 c
butter
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c
sugar
1 can(s)
unsweetened applesauce (15 oz)
1 bag(s)
walnut pieces (6 oz)
3 c
quick cooking oats
1 1/2 c
flour
2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ground clove
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
2 tsp
vanilla
2
eggs

How to Make Apple Walnut oat breakfast cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 375

    Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Mix well then add can of apple sauce.
  • 2Fold in oats until evenly mixed. Fold in flour then walnut pieces. Add 1 cup dried apple pieces if desired.
  • 3Drop by tablespoonfuls on baking sheets about 1" apart (they will not spread much)and bake 8-10 minuets.

    Cool on sheet two minuets before transferring to cooling racks.
