healthy breakfast idea
This is my healthy breakfast idea under 360 calories, it was only 359 calories, and I was full and satisfied, and I had no guilt afterwards. I made this simple omelet using a generic Egg Beaters substitute, by adding chopped shallots sweet red or green peppers, and a 1/4 cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese. The calories would have been less had I used a low fat or fat free cheese. I enjoyed a nice healthy breakfast without the guilt and this is one way you can do it too if you are watching your intake and trying to eat a bit healthier these days. I usually add milk but had it at lunch

Ingredients
- - non stick cooking spray for skillet
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped shallots or onions
- 1/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup generic or egg beaters egg substitute
- 2 cups fresh quartered strawberries
- 1 slice healthy life bread toasted (plain)
How To Make healthy breakfast idea

Step 1Spray a small to medium skillet with non stick cooking spray.

Step 2Chop shallots and peppers, and add to skillet heating over medium high heat, stir till veggies are transparent and slightly tender, then add the egg substitute, & half of the shredded cheese. When bottom is set, with the tip of a spatula, slip the tip under the omelet, and roll it over on itself. Then add the remaining cheese while still in skillet, and allow to melt.

Step 3Transfer to a plate, add quartered strawberries, and 1 slice of toasted Healthy Life 35 calorie bread. Breakfast is now served, add a cup of coffee and no extra calories are added.
