I combined a few breakfast bake recipes to come up with this one. I am trying to avoid hydrogenated oils and increase my whole grain and fiber consumption. So I used Hodson Mill Insta-Bake in place of bread or baking mixes. I prepared this for breakfast before we took off for a short trip. It was a hit!

Ingredients

eggs- slightly beated
1 can(s)
evaporated milk ( 14 ozs)
3/4 c
hodson mill insta-bake
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 tsp
mustard, spicy brown
1/4 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
onion powder
1 lb
roll sausage

How to Make Sausage Bake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grease a 10 inch pie plate, set aside. Brown sausage and drain well.
  • 2Stir all remaining ingredients together. Add the cooked sausage and mix. Pour into prepared pie plate.
  • 3Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; do not over bake.
  • 4May place extra shredded cheese on top and melt, if desired. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
