    flax seeds
  • 3 Tbsp
    sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c
    sliced almonds
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1/4 c
brown sugar (ideal sugar free sweetener)
  • 1/4 c
    oil (canola/pumpkin/hazelnut)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    mixed dried fruit

How to Make Homemade Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil.
  3. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the dried fruit and stir well.
  4. Spread mixture on the baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. (I find 20 to 25 mins is best)
  5. Remove granola from the oven and cool completely.
  6. Once granola is cool, mix in the dried fruit.
