Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (ideal sugar free sweetener)
  • 1/4 cup oil (canola/pumpkin/hazelnut)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mixed dried fruit

How To Make homemade granola

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
Line rimmed baking sheet with foil.
  • Step 3
In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the dried fruit and stir well.
  • Step 4
Spread mixture on the baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. (I find 20 to 25 mins is best)
  • Step 5
Remove granola from the oven and cool completely.
  • Step 6
Once granola is cool, mix in the dried fruit.
