    english muffins
  • 2 c
    cubed cooked ham or chickenn
  • 1 pkg
    10 oz frozen cut asparagus
  • 4 oz
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 4
    eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1 1/4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard

How to Make Ham Asparagus Strata


  1. Tear or cut the 4 english muffins into small pieces making 4 cups..
  2. In 2 quart greased baking square dish, spread 2 cups of the english muffin pieces. Top with diced ham chunks, cheese and chopped asparagus
  3. Top with remaining english muffin pieces
  4. Whisk together eggs, sour cream and stir in milk, mustard, onion and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Pour evenly over layers in dish...cover and chill for at least 2 hours..
  5. Bake uncovered in a preheated 325 degree oven for 60 minutes...let stand 10 minutes before serving
