Ingredients

  • 4 - english muffins
  • 2 cups cubed cooked ham or chickenn
  • 1 package 10 oz frozen cut asparagus
  • 4 ounces shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 - eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

How To Make ham asparagus strata

  • Step 1
    Tear or cut the 4 english muffins into small pieces making 4 cups..
  • Step 2
    In 2 quart greased baking square dish, spread 2 cups of the english muffin pieces. Top with diced ham chunks, cheese and chopped asparagus
  • Step 3
    Top with remaining english muffin pieces
  • Step 4
    Whisk together eggs, sour cream and stir in milk, mustard, onion and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Pour evenly over layers in dish...cover and chill for at least 2 hours..
  • Step 5
    Bake uncovered in a preheated 325 degree oven for 60 minutes...let stand 10 minutes before serving
