Another great recipe from Dianna Key of the Indianapolis Star. This is a breakfast dish with everything all rolled up together in individual servings. Photo from: www.Pillsbury.com

prep time 20 Min
cook time 10 Min
method ---
yield 4-8 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 - eggs, scrambled
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make dianna's breakfast roll-ups

  • Step 1
In a medium skillet, brown sausage, onion and green pepper together until sausage is no longer pink, and vegetables are tender. Drain fat.
  • Step 2
Scramble eggs with 2 Tbsp. milk; salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • Step 3
On a clean, flat surface, divide crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Spoon sausage mixture and eggs equally onto crescent rolls. Top each with shredded cheese.
  • Step 4
Roll crescent roll loosely as directed on package; form into a crescent shape.
  • Step 5
Place each roll on an ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down, and bake in a pre-heated 375-degree oven for 12-15 minutes, or until rolls are a golden brown. Serve hot.
  • Step 6
Dianna Key, my co-worker at the Indianapolis Star, was kind enough to share this recipe.
