Nice potatoes recipe, that I love to go to on those nice cold days..Reminds me of the younger years...

Ingredients

  • 8 - potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 pound fully cooked ham, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 package country-style gravy mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese,shredded

How To Make country scalloped potatoes and ham

  • Step 1
    Combine potatoes,, onion and ham in a lightly greased slow cooker. Combine gravy, mushroom and water: whisk welled mixed.Pour gravy over potatoes. Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours or (low 7-9 hours) Top with cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Step 2
    Note: to prevent darkening, Tossed sliced, uncooked potatoes in a mixture of 1cup of water and 1/2 tea of tartar: drain and proceed with recipes.
