This recipe seems a little heartier than the Hartwell Farm's recipe. And it differs from many of the other corn pudding recipes because it is not made with corn bread. It is made with saltine crackers. Hope you like my Mother's recipe!!

Ingredients For corn pudding

  • COMBINE:
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 c
    cracker crumbs (saltines or oyster crackers)
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 dash
    pepper
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2
    whole eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • DOT TOP WITH:
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make corn pudding

  • 1
    Combine all except the butter in mixing bowl and pour into 8x8 or 9x9 greased baking pan
  • 2
    Cut the butter in many small pieces and randomly dot the top of the whole dish with the butter

    Bake 350 F 30 min or until set
