Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 pounds pork shoulder, fat removed
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 1 - whole nutmeg, grated
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 2 - heaping teaspoons sage
  • 2 - heaping teaspoons marjouam
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make breakfast sausage

  • Step 1
    Cut pork into small pieces. Combine with other ingredients. Using fine grinder run through meat grinder twice. Shape into patties. Cook as desired. Makes about 20 patties.
