applesauce raisin baked oatmeal
Serve warm with cold milk or whipped cream with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top or just plain. This recipe will keep in the refrigerator up to a week but it never lasts that long at my home lol!

Ingredients
- 15 ounces applesauce, unsweetened
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make applesauce raisin baked oatmeal

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease with butter or use non-stick spray on a 8x8 baking dish.

Step 2In one bowl whisk together all of the wet ingredients (milk, yogurt, egg, applesauce) add brown sugar and whisk some more until all is mixed well.

Step 3In a separate bowl stir together dry ingredients (oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger and cinnamon) Then add the 1 cup of raisins.

Step 4Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir well until evenly mixed. Pour mixture into the greased 8x8 baking dish. Cover baking dish with foil.

Step 5Place in the preheated oven. Cook for 20 minutes then remove the foil and cook for about 25 minutes longer until the top is golden brown. Serve warm with milk.
