This breakfast recipe is superb! It has just enough sweetness to it, the apples are heavenly baked in the pancake batter and so simple to make! This one is a keeper in our kitchen! Recipe Source~ The Sister's Cafe

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

How To Make apple puffed pancake

  • Step 1
    Place 13x9-inch baking dish in oven on 425*. Whisk together the eggs, salt, milk, cinnamon, flour, sugar, and vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Place butter in the baking dish and melt in oven. Add the apples to the dish and place in oven until the butter begins to sizzle, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Remove from oven and pour batter over apples and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake for 20 minutes. 7 points per serving
