strawberry buckle
This was a redo from an old blueberry buckle recipe from my mother's days. I took out a few ingredients and added a a few more (plus one) I hope you like it.

Ingredients
- IN A LARGE BOWL BEAT TOGETHER
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) very soft butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking podwer
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- THEN ADD
- 1 cup flour
- BLEND WELL. AND PUT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SPRAYED BAKING DISH AND SMOOTH OUT. ARRANGE THE FOLLOWING IN THE ORDER GIVEN
- 2/3 pound strawberries, stemmed and sliced
- 2/3 cup strawberry jam or strawberry glaze (mine was a combo)
- NEXT MIX TOGETHER IN SMALL BOWL AND SPRINKLE OVER THE STAWBERRY MIXTURE
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
How To Make strawberry buckle

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an oblong baking dish.

Step 2After following the directions above put into the oven for 45-50 minutes.

Step 3serve warm with ice cream or as a side for a brunch
