tina's oatmeal beer bread
I like the simplicity of beer bread and this is just a bit better. I have used white sugar, light brown sugar and dark brown sugar. All are good and especially good toasted the next day with honey and butter.

Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1/4 cup brown or white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces beer
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
How To Make tina's oatmeal beer bread

Step 1In a bowl blend flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Step 2toss in oatmeal and mix.

Step 3pour beer into dry ingredients. Pour into a greased loaf pan. pour butter over bread and sprinkle with a bit of raw oatmeal. Bake 375 degrees for 1 hour. Great toasted the next morning.
