Sweet Southern Corn Bread
1 cyellow cornmeal
1 1/2 call purpose flour
1 Tbspbaking powder
1 1/2 cwhole milk
1 1/2 stickbutter or margarine, melted
3 Tbspbutter or margarine
2eggs, slightly beaten
How to Make Sweet Southern Corn Bread
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In your baking pan or skillet but 3 tablespoons butter and place in preheated oven.
- In large bowl mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside
- In medium bowl mix milk, melted butter, and eggs. Add to dry mixture and mix until no longer dry.
- Remove baking pan from oven and carefully pour batter into baking pan. Return to oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
