strawberry pecan bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon lemon extract
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make strawberry pecan bread

Step 1In a medium sized bowl, combine the butter and the sugar, vanilla, and lemon extract until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat each one well.

Step 2Combine flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda. Combine sour cream and jam. Add the jam mixture, alternating with the dry ingredients to the cream mixture. Beat until thoroughly combined. Stir in the pecans.

Step 3Turn mixture into a lightly greased and floured loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 55 minutes.

Step 4Serve warm with butter or cream cheese spread.
