Every year since my children were very small, when October rolls around, they start bugging me about making their favorite seasonal treat, pumpkin bread. What they never knew was that it was good for them, with vitamins and anti-oxidents!

Ingredients For pumpkin bread

31/2 call purpose flour
-
2 1/2 csugar

1 1/2 tspsalt
-
2 tspbaking soda
-
1 1/2 tspground cinnamon

1 tspground nutmeg
-
1 can16 oz pumpkin
-
1 cvegetable oil
-
4 mdeggs
How To Make pumpkin bread

1Grease and flour 2 9x5x3 inch loaf pans or 3 small loaf pans ( I use the throw away aluminum pans )

2In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In a separate bowl stir together the pumpkin and oil.

3Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition

4Make a well in the center of the flour mixture; add pumpkin mixture. Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
