Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 large pear, peeled, cored and chopped
- TOPPING
- 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
How To Make pear cardamom bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly coat a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and 1 tsp cardamom.

Step 3Beat canola oil, milk and eggs in medium bowl; add to dry ingredients. Stir in pears until well combined.

Step 4Pour batter into pan.

Step 5Stir together sugar and 1/4 tsp cardamom; sprinkle over batter in loaf pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 6Cool 10 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
