Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 2 - eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 - mashed, ripe bananas (i use blackened bananas)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
How To Make mom's banana bread

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350º and grease a loaf pan.

Step 2Mix sugar and butter together.

Step 3Stir in eggs.

Step 4Add the mashed bananas and water, then stir.

Step 5Stir in the rest of the ingredients until moistened and well mixed.

Step 6Bake for an hour, checking with a cake tester frequently. Depending on your oven, it may cook faster. My bread was ready in about 40 minutes, whereas it takes my mother about an hour to bake. Enjoy!
