This is a adopted recipe from my friend and pen-pal Molly. I started searching and didn't have to search too long after my hubby informed me he didn't like my mom's classic banana bread recipe. He said mom's recipe for banana bread tasted like ginger bread.....

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3
    ripe mashed bananas
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 c
    flour
  • ·
    pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Molly's Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Dissolve baking soda in water. Add to creamed mixture alternately with flour. Add salt, bananas and vanilla. Grease 1 loaf 9x5 I believe or 3 baby loaf pans. Bake at 350* for an hour or till crack on top looks completely dry.
