A very delicious bread.Now since the mangoes are in season, I love to bake and cook with them.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk or cultured milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups chopped mangoes,not to ripe
  • 1/3 cup chopped dry dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make mango bread

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla extract.Add vegetable oil.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl mix the flour,baking soda,cinnamon and salt.Pour dry ingredients to the egg mixture.
  • Step 3
    Fold in the mangoes and dates.Pour to 9 by 5 inch loaf pan.Preheat the oven to 350 F and bake 55-60 minutes.
