11/4 oz envelope active dry yeast
2 clukewarm water (100-110 degrees)
4 cself rising flour
3\4 cbutter..melted & cooled
1 largeegg, lightly beaten
1pinch of salt
How to Make Make Ahead Spoon Bread
- Combine 1st 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
Let mixture stand 5 minutes.
Stir in flour & next 4 ingredients until well blended.
Spoon into muffin tins coated with cooking spray.
Filling 2/3 full.
Bake 400 degrees 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- FOR ITALIAN SPOON ROLLS:
Prepare rolls as directed,adding 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning & 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder with the flour to yeast mixture.
