sugar
1/2 c
apple sauce
1 c
mashed bananas
2 large
eggs
1 3/4 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda

How to Make Low Fat Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1IN A SMALL BOWL; COMBINE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND BAKING SODA, SET
    ASIDE.
  • 2IN ANOTHER BOWL; COMBINE SUGAR, APPLESAUCE AND EGGS. BEAT VIGOROUSLY UNTIL FROTHY
  • 3ADD BANANAS AND BLEND THOROUGHLY.
  • 4FOLD IN FLOUR MIXTURE UNTIL BLENDED
  • 5POUR INTO A GREASED BREAD PAN.
  • 6BAKE AT 325 FOR 1 HOUR UNTIL CRUST IS BROWN. USE A TOOTHPICK TO TEST FOR DONENESS. LET REST IN PAN FOR 10 MINUTES.
  • 7THIS RECIPE CAN BE DOUBLED. USE A TUBE/BUNT PAN FOR BAKING
