  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    apple sauce
  • 1 c
    mashed bananas
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Low Fat Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. IN A SMALL BOWL; COMBINE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND BAKING SODA, SET
    ASIDE.
  2. IN ANOTHER BOWL; COMBINE SUGAR, APPLESAUCE AND EGGS. BEAT VIGOROUSLY UNTIL FROTHY
  3. ADD BANANAS AND BLEND THOROUGHLY.
  4. FOLD IN FLOUR MIXTURE UNTIL BLENDED
  5. POUR INTO A GREASED BREAD PAN.
  6. BAKE AT 325 FOR 1 HOUR UNTIL CRUST IS BROWN. USE A TOOTHPICK TO TEST FOR DONENESS. LET REST IN PAN FOR 10 MINUTES.
  7. THIS RECIPE CAN BE DOUBLED. USE A TUBE/BUNT PAN FOR BAKING
