- 3 cups all purpose flour,unbleached
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white raisins
- 2 tablespoons butter ,melted
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs,beaten
How To Make irish soda bread

Step 1Mix together flour, sugar,baking powder,baking soda and salt.Stir in raisins.

Step 2In separate bowl,combine eggs,buttermilk,and melted butter.

Step 3Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.

Step 4Pour batter into greased and floured 9 inch cake spring form.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
