I never used to like cornbread because it was gritty and just not good. So i went on a mission to find a good one. This cornbread is so sweet and moist.The best cornbread I've ever had homemade!! This recipe can be doubled, and baked in a 9x13.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- GLAZE
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup butter
How To Make honey glazed cornbread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x9 baking dish.

Step 2Stir together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Step 3Pour in the oil, melted butter, honey, beaten eggs, and milk.

Step 4Stir just enough to moisten.

Step 5Pour into greased dish and bake 45 min. Test with toothpick.

Step 6GLAZE...in a sauce pan, simmer 1/4 c butter and 1/4 c of honey together until combined. Pour over hot cornbread.
