I don't like bananas but I do like banana bread and this is a really great one if you are diabetic or can't use sugar.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cans all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 - fresh ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup sugar substitute
- 1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 1/8 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup nuts, pecans or walnuts
How To Make healthy banana bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Step 2Spray a pan with nonstick cooking spray

Step 3I medium bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt to combine.

Step 4I another bowl, beat the mashed bananas, sugar substitute, applesauce, egg whites and vanilla until mixed well. Add the dry ingrediets and whisk until smooth.

Step 5Add nuts slowly,stiring them in.

Step 6Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and smooth the top.

Step 7Bake for 50 minutes to an hour or until the top is browned and the sides of the bread pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes on baking rack. Invert and unmold onto the rack, turn right side up and let cool.
