    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • ·
    peel of lemon, grated
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    nuts
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • ·
    lemon juice from 1 lemon

How to Make Fresh Lemon Nut Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend milk, eggs, and lemon peel in blender. Mix butter and sugar together. Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and nuts.
  2. Mix all together and pour into a loaf pan
  3. Bake at 325 for 60mins. Remove from oven.
  4. Mix lemon juice and sugar, and spoon mixture over the top of loaf, returning it to the oven for another five minutes. Let cool before slicing.
