Ingredients
- 2 cups hot mashed potatoes
- 4 tablespoons lard yes lard
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- - pinch of salt
- - pinch of nutmeg
- 7 cups flour
How To Make fireman bob's 100 plus year old " spudnuts "

Step 1Combine potatoes, lard, sugar and eggs, mix together. Add milk, salt, nutmeg. Then adding the baking powder to the flour, add enough flour to stiffen. Roll dough out and cut with doughnut cutter.

Step 2Heat oil to 460 degrees ( being careful not to have a fire ) Place doughnuts in heated oil and cook till golden brown then flip onto the other side and repeat cooking till done.

Step 3Glaze the doughnuts ENJOY!
